Subaru Loves to Care
Whether they live in our homes or in the wild, Subaru is committed to keeping all animals safe and healthy.
Loving the environment means more than loving the great outdoors. It means working to preserve it.
It’s our goal to make the pursuit of knowledge available to as many minds as possible.
In a perfect world, hunger would be history and hope would be commonplace. We believe a perfect world is possible.
We should all have a chance to lead a healthy life. We’re aiming to give as many people that chance as we can.
Our Love Promise can be seen in various partnerships with local charities and non-profits. We're grateful for the opportunity, not only to be a part of our community, but to serve it as well.
Subaru of Plano joined forces with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) of North Texas to bring warmth and joy to patients battling cancer. Subaru of Plano provided 100 custom-made Subaru Loves To Care/LLS blankets to patients in treatment at Medical City Hospital in Dallas, TX. In addition to their generous blanket donation, Subaru customers also filled out care cards during the month of June with messages of hope and inspiration. The cards will go to patients as they receive their cancer treatment. Subaru supports the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in their mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS and patients across the country thank Subaru of Plano for their generosity towards our community! Because of you, our patients feel supported through their treatment and in survivorship. Thank you, Subaru of Plano!
Operation Kindness’ relationship with Subaru of Plano was love at first puppy kiss! Operation Kindness, the original and largest no-kill animal shelter in North Texas relies on the volunteers and support from partners like Subaru of Plano to save the lives of more than 6,000 homeless animals each year. Thanks to the four adoption events they hosted in the past few months, 24 dogs and one Subaru Outback were adopted into new families. Their superb event planning and promotion turned the adoption events into fun, family festivals which gave Operation Kindness valuable visibility in the greater Plano community. Thank you Subaru of Plano for sharing the love of homeless animals with our community and joining us as The Place Where Happiness Begins.
We just recently leased our tenth Subaru. This journey started for us in 1992 in TylerTx. We needed a car to travel long distances in our commute to our jobs from Tyler and we have never questioned or looked back from this initial car experience. We bought four more Subaru’s in Tyler. Subaru of Plano has such an intensely high standard of service that no other dealership and service team has ever compared. Not to say that we haven’t had some great experiences at other dealerships. The overall experience has unmatched that we experience in Plano. We met Mr. Burke as best as I can remember around 2007. He met us at a time where we were needing not only a good salesman but someone who would offer advice, listen and help you feel better about a lot of things. We were taking care of a parent and care giving had depleted us on too many levels. Mr. Burke must have such a significant impact on so many at your dealership. We cherish our time with him and always look forward to a visit to see him and all the wonderful people at Subaru of Plano. When choosing the car that I have currently, Bill was most patient and stayed with us until eight o’clock that evening getting everything ready to leave with the car. He sensed my intimidation of all the new technology and encouraged me to call to ask any questions I might have. We love our Subaru's and cherish the friendliness and courtesy of Subaru of Plano!
Eighty-two Santas, Mrs. Claus, helpers and countless volunteers from these communities came together to bring LOVE, HOPE, JOY and TOYS, all wrapped in a BIG Santa HUG to hundreds of children and their families who were impacted by the tornadoes that struck North Texas on December 26th, 2015; cutting short a joyous Christmas season. Lone Star Santas provided a Christmas "re-do" for all affected and brought back a smile to the faces of the children and a new sense of hope to their parents as well, knowing that Santa Claus himself was there helping them and bringing back that lost joy and the gifts that so many children lost in this disaster. There were several instances where Santa found a toy that replaced the very one they had just received for Christmas, which brought back that glee and excitement once again. THANK YOU SUBARU OF PLANO FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND PROVIDING THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUR TOY DRIVE EVENT!
I'm so grateful that Subaru of Plano helped supply books and classroom materials for my Kindergartners! They are so excited to have new books to read and I thank Subaru for continuing that love of reading in my students. We are revved up for an amazing year!
Plano Mayor Harry LaRosiliere is partnering with the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) to address the hidden but critical issue of childhood hunger in Plano by expanding the Food 4 Kids program into all of Plano Independent School District's elementary and early childhood schools. The Food 4 Kids - Plano (F4K - Plano) program strives to distribute weekly backpacks to keep kids healthy during the school year, provide supplemental food during the school holidays by distributing holiday break boxes and mobilize community involvement through program opportunities. As we head into the second year of this three-year initiative, we are extremely grateful that Subaru of Plano has joined us at the table to support chronically hungry children. This past June, Subaru of Plano presented Mayor LaRosiliere and the NTFB with a gift of $15,031, helping to provide access to over 3,000 backpacks to be distributed this upcoming school year! Through their commitment and generosity, we will continue to make a significant impact in the lives of Plano children and their families. Thank you, Subaru of Plano!
Subaru of Plano has been a gift from God to Minnie's Food Pantry! As the one of the leading food pantries in Collin County, we always see an increase in clients during the last quarter of the year as the weather begins to decrease and the holiday season approaches. Minnie's Food Pantry has been able to count on Subaru of Plano to host food drives to obtain additional non perishable items to pass out to those in need. We are extremely grateful for your partnership and commitment to the community and look forward to another rewarding year with Subaru of Plano!
We are very appreciative of Subaru of Plano for allowing us to have an event at their facility on Saturday, December 6th. One puppy was adopted. We received $30 from raffle sales. We still have one couple keeping in touch with us to decide if they want to adopt later this month. Thanks, Vickie W
Deepest appreciation from all of us at Carter Bloodcare for having us, for recruiting the donors and for donating. Every donation counts to save the lives of friends, family and neighbors in our community. The time and energy put into a blood drive means someone gets a second chance at life. At our event with Subaru of Plano held on July, 25th we saw 6 donors, drew 5 whole blood units and 1 double red unit. The drive at Subaru of Plano was instrumental in saving the lives of 21 patients!
